Canada Beef Inc (@CanadianBeef) and the Canadian Country Music Association (@CCMAofficial) announced in a “Tweet Release” tonight that they have partnered in search of Canada’s Biggest Country Music Fan.
“Canadian agriculture and country music go hand in hand,” says Heather Travis, Director, Public Relations & Marketing Communications, Canada Beef Inc., “so this is a great opportunity to partner on a shared passion other than helping provide Canadians with great food, and that’s great music!”
For a shot at the prize, contestants will have to show Canada what makes them this nation’s Biggest Country Music Fan. So, put on your director hat, grab your camcorder and prepare to showcase your originality in a 2-4 minute video.
Not only will the winner (and his or her very lucky guest) be flying to Edmonton for the 31st annual Canadian Country Music Awards, they will ALSO act as the official social media reporter! What does that mean? Oh, just tweeting…LIVE from the official John Deere green carpet!
“And,” encourages Canada Beef, “don’t forget: tweet your video URL along with ‘I want @CanadianBeef to #SendMeToTheCCMA @CCMAOfficial’ to help your video get lots of votes and to warm those tweeting fingers up for your green carpet reporting duties.”
For full details and to enter, check out the CCMA Facebook page starting Thursday, August 15th.
